The Wild Kustoms Tracks are now all archived and available. For those unaware, John Norton (the creator of all Wild Kustoms tracks) has decided to stop creating new tracks for the time being and closed his site. So as to preserve access to those tracks, I have made them all available here. You can find them by hovering over ‘Tracks’ in the menu bar above and choosing the ‘Wild Kustoms Full Tracks Archive’.
Or, if you’re lazy like crazy, you can just click here!
Please note: When downloading, ensure you are getting the version you need. The Photoshop files will not load visually correct in Gimp. So, make sure to download the Gimp versions if you’re using Gimp.
These new templates are almost completely revamped from scratch. The new templates are now high resolution with the following new additions:
High Resolution (2048×2048)
All new Grilles – Frames can be color changed (N/A for Gimp Templates)
All new high resolution side/rear windows added.
All new fuel fill and overflow graphics.
All new rivets, attachments, and hood/trunk pins.
All new logos and decals (some color changeable and stroke-able)
Multiple optional layers, such as cowl coloring, spoiler, roof rails, etc.
High Resolution Driver graphics added.
All layers have been appropriately grouped to make finding things significantly easier as well as turning individual items on/off (such as optional grilles, blackouts, etc.).
Special thanks to Rioux Mods & Design Mods Racing for the Cup90 mod and original templates.
I have begun creating an all new 1992 high resolution carset for the Cup90 mod. The carset will be as accurate as I can possibly be to at least one of every single car that ran the full season. The 1992 season was a very monumental year in the history of the NASCAR Cup Series. I felt it was high time the year got a fresh high resolution car set.
Along with that, I’ve also up-scaled and begun the process of revamping the mod’s original template files. All 5 car type templates will be made available at 2048×2048 resolution.
I have also created a new section on the page here for logos. I have created many logos (vector and non-vector) from scratch. I feel it’s maybe time to make them publicly available to those who have their own projects and could use them.
Sorry, everyone. The link I had previously posted stating the additional cars were added were not, somehow. I have now corrected the links. You may have to refresh the page to see the new links. Here is the correct link for the 2022 Cup Set for the LMPV2 Mod by Anthony Apa:
Anthony has updated his 2022 Cup carset to include another 30 alternate schemes from the 2022 NASCAR Cup season. The links on the page have been updated. If you have the original download, definitely make sure to get the new one so you have all his great work ready to use!
Painter Apa Anthony has released his 2022 Cup series car set for the LMP2MOD for those of us out there who love to drive the late models and wouldn’t mind doing it with the top drivers of the Cup Series. This set includes at least one scheme from every single entry (thus far) in the 2022 season. Very well done.
This set is now available under the carsets tab at the top of the page in the LMP2 section. Otherwise feel free to click the link below:
Now available in the tracks section up at the top of the page are all of Matty Degrieck’s (WKRT_Matty) creations formerly hosted on his WKRT website. The site has long since gone dark. Matty specialized in making short tracks from all across the US and Canada. If you’re a short track racer looking to add some tracks to your schedule, absolutely check these out!
I want to thank Mic Olafson for supplying the files.
Coming soon to the website will be all the WKRT tracks that were originally released back around 2006-2009. They’re difficult to find tracks these days as the WKRT site was taken down long ago. Thankfully a former site owner from another site has sent along all the files to me and I’ll have them posted, soon. I will also be putting some work into getting my Super Speedway section of older tracks relatively soon.
I have started a new tribute diecast project, so my time will be split a bit for the next month or so. Despite that, I’m going to continue adding to the site to keep some of the older mods, tracks, and other things alive. As well, adding some more recent stuff, as time allows.
Hope you’ve all had a great New Year, so far. -Bill
