Cynon Tracks Page (by Ian Cooper)

Ian Cooper, better known to the NR2003 community as Cynon, is a long standing community member with excellent skill in track building & design. He is also a great 3DO artist who creates some of the most unique stuff you’ll ever see in this simulator.

Cynon’s full track list is now available here. If you’re looking for something familiar, all the way to something you’d least expect, look no further. you can find his full track archive by clicking here or from under the ‘Tracks’ header at the top of this page.

Additionally, Cynon has become the new host for the NR2K3Tracks.com page, taking over the duties from longtime host J.R. Franklin. Congrats to Ian and high hopes for the future of that very long standing site. It has been around for us in the community since the 1990s.

Stunod Stays Open!

After some soul searching, Stunod has decided to keep their doors open with some changes. Good news for the community and glad to see they will keep things going over there.

In the meantime here, efforts to preserve and make things easy to find and obtainable continue. Happy racing, everyone!

Regarding The Stunod Racing Closing

For those who haven’t heard, Stunod Racing is officially closing down their site as of February 17, 2025. With that they intend to move to Discord where all their resources will continue to exist.

While this is bummer news, it is nothing new for this community. Or any community behind any sim or game with a long lasting fanbase. While we have lost some of the longer lasting sites pretty consecutively in the last couple years, it is important to remember that this isn’t the first time this has happened, nor will it be the last. And despite that, the community lives on, it thrives, and continues to create great new things. We still have new mods, we still have new carsets, we still have new tracks, and they’re being released all the time.

When a larger site goes down, it can be easy to think “The community is dying.” This is not true. For those of us who keep resource sites like these up, it’s important to remember that the 10-20 of us who do are not representative the entire community when a site goes dark. If 3 to 5 of us shut sites down, it can be a rough, but from those ashes new sites arrive, and things continue on as they always have. File sharing is also easier than it’s ever been.

I hosted my first resource site for Papyrus based sims in 1996 with NASCAR Racing 2. A number of years later, in 2012, I started this one. And I plan to keep this one alive for many years to come. And that goes for many of the other sites that continue to thrive. And new sites will appear as new resource hubs along the way. Just like they always have.

If you’re looking for something just like Stunod is today, Make sure to check out the very excellent Armory Digital Racing Designs. That site, run by Mystical, will feel very familiar to those who have been using Stunod to post their stuff all these years.

With that said, take a breath, save the files you want to save, and don’t fear. We’re all gonna be just fine. If you are looking for a home for your carsets (I can’t do individual cars), tracks, mods, tools, utilities, you also have a home here.
