NASCAR DRIVER TRIBUTES

Below are all my NASCAR driver die-cast tributes I’ve created to date. Each one of these tributes are a combination of some of the driver’s famous paint schemes molded into a single design. Each of these diecasts are full bodied waterslide decal wraps created from my own templates in Photoshop.

Each photo in the galleries can be clicked on to expand for a closer look.

This is my Alan Kulwicki tribute containing some of his most iconic schemes. This tribute includes the roof of his debut #35 car. That scheme is continued on the passenger side which then blends into the 1991 Daytona Army car. This blends in to the hood and drivers front half which is modeled after the Hooters car. That then blends to the quarter and the tail to represent both of the Zerex schemes.

This Bill Elliott was the second tribute I’d created. This one is entirely focused on Bill Elliott’s cars from 1990 to 1999. On the nose is the always popular Mac Tonight design. This blends into the Budweiser car on the driver’s side when he was driving for Junior Johnson. That then blends along the trunk to the passenger side leading into the always recognizable Coor’s car from 1990. From there, it blends back to the front of the car with the Batman Forever car from 1995. The roof is from Bill’s 1999 car which was one of his more unique number designs.

This car was a celebration tribute of Chase Elliott’s 2020 Cup Series Championship. This car includes several of the car designs Chase ran over the course of the 2020 season.

This is the second version of my original tribute design dedicated to Dale Earnhardt, Sr. This car was a tribute to all the special paint schemes Dale used when running The Winston, now known as the All Star Race.

This was the original Dale Earnhardt, Sr. tribute car. This was also one of the first cars I did as I was developing my method of doing full body wraps with waterslide decals. Color adjustments were made for the 2003 bodied version. This car now resides in Dale Earnhardt, Jr.’s collection.

This is my Darrell Waltrip tribute. This tribute touches on a number of Darrell’s more notable schemes. The roof throws back to his Diegard Racing number 88 where he had a bunch of success. The driver’s side is shared by a couple versions of his time driving the 17 car including the Tide and Western Auto schemes. The driver’s side tributes his time with Junior Johnson in both his Mountain Dew and Budweiser rides. Finally the tail is a tribute to another Junior Johnson car with the Pepsi Challenger scheme.
