This section includes carsets for the WinstonCup98 mod, created by Splash n Go Graphics. All carsets physics will be listed. The WinstonCup98 mods original physics is the Cup physics model & the GNS98 mods original physics is the GNS physics model.

This set includes a total of 51 cars painted by the NR2003 legend, CC48. Each car in the set is wonderfully detailed.
1995 Winston Cup Series Carset Expansion – Thunder98
This is a small set that includes some additional cars/drivers and some additional paint schemes created by Thunder. 16 cars in total.
1996 Winston Cup Series Carset (Cup Physics) v1.1 – Dr. Noise Paints
This carset was created here by Bill Martin at Dr. Noise paints. It includes 178 total cars from the 1996 season. Includes pit crews & ratings.
1996 Thunder Special Carset (Cup Physics) – SlipsRacingDesigns
This carset by Slipster includes all 27 of the drivers who made their way to Japan for the Thunder Special, an exhibition race held at Suzuka. A wonderfully accurate carset with a lot of care. It includes both ratings and pit crews. In addition, this carset also includes the Suzuka East track!
1997 Winston Cup Carset (Cup Physics) – SlipsRacingDesigns
This wonderful carset created by John is a great representation of the 97 season. His set includes 115 real world cars & 3 fictional rides. This highly researched and excellently executed carset is both rated & includes pit crews.
1997 Winston Cup Carset (Cup Physics) – Adam Caldwell
Adam has also created a 1997 Winston cup carset. His set includes 85 total cars from the 1997 season, and they are also excellently designed and highly detailed. This set has also been rated & includes pit crews. This carset uses the same ratings formula as Slipster’s making them easy to combine.
1997 Thunder Special Carset (Cup Physics) – SlipsRacingDesigns
Once again, Slipster puts together another fantastic carset for the Thunder Special exhibition race at Suzuka in Japan. The carset includes all 30 drivers who participated, all of which are rated and include pit crews. This carset also includes the Suzuka East track.
1998 Winston Cup Carset (Cup Physics) – Splash n’ Go Graphics
This is the full carset that comes with the mod, with some extra paint schemes that were not included. The set has also been rated as a full carset and includes pit crews.
1998 Thunder Exhibition Carset (Cup Physics) – SlipsRacingDesigns
Great things come in threes and that goes for Slip’s Japan carsets, as well. The Cup series again traveled to Japan for an exhibition race in ’98, this time at the Twin Ring Motegi Circuit. This carset includes all 31 participants that year, all of which are rated with pit crews. The carset also comes with the Motegi circuit included!
1999 Winston Cup Carset (Cup Physics) – Thunder98
This carset was a collaboration of several artists bringing together a massive 271 cars from the ’99 season. The set is rated with pit crews and ready to race!

1996 Diehard Cup Series Fantasy Set (Cup Physics) – Thunder98
Another great set from Thunder for those looking for a complete fantasy carset to race with. This carset includes 150 cars in total and also includes a whole bunch of driver roster lists.
2019 to 1997 Cup Series Carset (Cup Physics) – Thunder98
This carset is quite an imagining. It takes the drivers/cars from 2019 (and some bonus drivers from 2018) and sets their cars & teams in 1997. Sponsors and schemes are adjusted to how they would have appeared in 1997. If a sponsor didn’t exist then, Thunder would adjust by using sponsors that did, but were still related to the car/team. This carset includes 92 total cars, includes pit crews, and is fully rated.
2019 to 1997 Xfinity Carset (GNS Physics) – Thunder98
This carset, similar to the one above it, takes the drivers/cars from 2019 in the Xfinity series and takes them back to 1997. Another great piece of work by Jack. This set includes 162 cars as well as being fully rated with pit crews.
